On June 10, Chen Yang, President and Deputy Party Secretary of China MCC, received Jia Chunqu, Party Secretary of the China National Administration of Coal Geology (CNACG), at MCC Tower in Beijing. The two parties held in-depth discussions on strengthening strategic alignment and deepening practical cooperation. Wang Bo, Standing Committee Member and Vice President of China MCC, and Wu Yuebiao, Party Committee Member and Deputy Director of CNACG, also attended the meeting.

Chen Yang extended a warm welcome to Jia Chunqu and his team and provided a brief overview of China MCC’s business structure and development trajectory. He noted that in recent years, leveraging its specialized technical expertise and operational qualifications accumulated in the steel and metallurgy sector, China MCC has established a business framework centered on "One Core, Two Subjects, Five Characteristics." Currently, China MCC is actively fulfilling the Group’s founding mission of "serving the mining industry and strengthening the nation through mining," fully capitalizing on its integrated full-industry-chain advantages in the metallurgical and mining construction sectors. By doing so, it aims to forge a differentiated competitive edge and accelerate its transformation and upgrading. As a central enterprise with over 70 years of history, CNACG has verified the vast majority of China’s coal and chemical mineral resources, making significant contributions to national energy and food security. Given the close alignment of their respective business chains, the two parties share a solid foundation for cooperation and complementary resource advantages. Chen Yang expressed hope that this meeting would serve as an opportunity to establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism, expand collaboration in areas such as mineral resource exploration, ecological geological restoration, geographic information, and geological big data, and accelerate the implementation of key cooperative projects, thereby collectively advancing high-quality development in the context of national strategic initiatives.

Jia Chunqu expressed gratitude for the warm reception and commended China MCC’s recent achievements and its leading position in the metallurgical and mining sectors. He stated that CNACG, adhering to its founding mission of “serving the country through geology,” is accelerating the development of four core industries—geological exploration, ecological geology, engineering geology, and geographic information—centered on the “grand geology” main business. Recognizing China MCC’s comprehensive strength and prominent full-chain advantages, he noted the high degree of business synergy and broad cooperation potential between the two enterprises. Jia Chunqu expressed hope that this exchange would further strengthen strategic alignment, foster coordinated efforts in geological exploration, ecological restoration, geographic information, and new energy, and drive the successful implementation of cooperative projects, jointly setting a new benchmark for central enterprise collaboration.

Relevant officials from the CNACG, including Gong Caijun, Lin Zhongxiang, Duan Jianhua, Wang Minghong, and Jiang Yue, along with representatives from the relevant departments of MCC Headquarters, namely Zheng Li, Guo Wencai, Yu Rui, and Yang Ruobing, participated in the meeting.
