Themed "Everyone advocates safety, everyone is capable of emergency response—conduct thorough investigations and rectifications of hazards and risks," the event aligned with China MCC’s "One Core, Two Subjects, Five Characteristics" business framework and was initiated under the "1+5M+5N" model. The main venue was established at the Phase I project of Chengdu Third People’s Hospital High-Tech Campus, undertaken by China MCC5 Group. Five regional sub‑venues were set up in Central China (China First Metallurgical Group), East China (Shanghai Baoye), South China (China MCC20 Group), North China (China MCC22 Group), and overseas projects. Additionally, five specialized sub‑venues were designated for Metallurgy (CERI), Mining (China MCC3 Group), Expressways (China MCC19 Group), Water Utilities (MCC Eco‑Environmental Protection Group), and Maintenance (MCC Baosteel Technology). This comprehensive arrangement aimed to implement national policies on Work Safety thoroughly, consolidate full‑staff safety responsibilities, advance hazard investigation and rectification operations, foster a robust safety month atmosphere, and secure a stable environment for MCC’s high‑quality development.
During the ceremony, the national video conference directives on Work Safety were communicated, and key tasks for the safety month were emphasized. All subsidiaries were instructed to earnestly study and act on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on Work Safety, elevate political awareness, deepen conceptual understanding, target high‑risk areas and critical operational steps, and reinforce the solid defense line of Work Safety. The approach promotes sustaining month‑long efforts to drive annual improvements and scaling up from pilot points to comprehensive coverage, thereby ensuring long‑term and normalizing safety management to support China MCC’s high‑quality development. Participants across all venues took a collective safety oath.
Following the commencement, attendees conducted on-duty inspections of the project construction site, observing displays of intelligent equipment, physical processes, safety training, and electromechanical‑medical specialized achievements. They gained detailed insights into the company’s and project’s safety management, intelligent construction, digital technologies, process quality, electromechanical installation, medical specialties, and green civilized construction practices. All sub‑venues conducted concurrent observation activities.
The event adopted a hybrid format combining on‑site presence with live online streaming. A total of over 1,300 participants attended, including personnel from China MCC’s Safety & Environmental Protection Department, Enterprise Management Department, Marketing Department, Contract Performance Department, Southern Headquarters, Xiong’an Command Center, and Special Engineering Command; safety management leaders, safety directors, and heads of safety supervision departments from subsidiaries and selected third‑tier companies at each venue; and project managers from ongoing construction projects at the respective venues.
