Guo Wenqing pointed out that Baise is a crucial city on ‘the Belt and Road’ route and a famous old revolutionary base area with advantages in regional transport, ecological environment and specialty resources. Both the new China Minmetals Corporation and MCC have both the will and the responsibility to spare no efforts to support Baise City's development. He hopes that both parties will take the signing of this agreement as an opportunity, enhance communication and exchange, actively discuss proper cooperation models and further deepen their cooperation in fields including municipal infrastructure, highway and rail transit, airports, small specialty towns, health preservation tourism and metallic ore resources, thereby attaining mutual development and win-win results for the government and the enterprise. MCC will give full play to its comprehensive industry chain advantages including reconnaissance, design, construction, supervision and operation, complete all kinds of projects with the greatest speed, highest quality and optimal costs, contribute to the construction of Baise and promote the overall development of the city’s economy and society.
Peng Xiaochun expressed gratitude for the contributions made by MCC and China Minmetals to Baise City's economic and social development for many years, and pointed out that the old revolutionary base area of Baise has fallen behind in such domains as municipal infrastructure, thus restricting its economic and social development.
