On the morning of December 18, MCC Sri Lanka OCH project completed the installation of 265 hollow beams and slabs in seven KER interchange ramp bridges, completing the annual beam and slab installation construction plan 13 days in advance and offering a Lunar New Year gift for the upcoming 2019. The installation completion of the hollow beams and slabs of KER interchange ramp bridges is of great significance to MCC Sri Lanka OCH project, marking the integration of OCH and CKE, completing another major construction node of OCH project and witnessing the growth and development of MCC from CKE project to OCH project in Sri Lanka.
2018 was a very critical year, a very difficult year and a fruitful year for China MCC20 OCH project department. Under the correct leadership of the project department's leading group, the staff adhered to the MCC spirit of "No work should be delayed for even one day" to overcome the difficulties of crossing K5 RAGAMA road, A3 highway and railways, A1 road beams and slabs installation, rainy season and night transportation, and work together day and night to complete the installation of 348 I-type beams and slabs on the main line of No. 2 viaduct on April 1, 2018, the installation of 1,880 I-type beams and slabs on the main line of No. 1 viaduct and 245 hollow beams and slabs on November 11, 2018, the installation of beams and slabs on the main line of No. 3 viaduct on November 27, 2018 and the installation of 265 hollow beams and slabs of KER interchange ramp bridge on December 18, 2018.
2019 is getting nearer and nearer. The staff of China MCC20 OCH project department will continue to carry forward the MCC spirit of "No work should be delayed for even one day" to ensure the successful completion of the rest project construction tasks, delivering a satisfying record for the owners and MCC Group.
