On March 13th, Gansu Provincial Party Standing Committee Member and Provincial Party Committee Organization Department Director Li Yuanping investigated and surveyed CFMCC’s Baiyin Underground Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Project. The investigation and survey were accompanied by Baiyin Municipal Party Committee Secretary Su Jun.
In Pipe Gallery Sub-Control Room No. 2 on Beijing Road, Li Yuanping carefully listened to an introduction to the project’s overall planning, design scale, investment and financing schemes, construction schedule and other situations, and made an onsite inspection of the comprehensive cabin and heating power cabin construction, and pipeline operation situation. He then pointed out that the Baiyin Underground Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Project has advanced design concepts and a large construction scale. Its construction quality and speed are particularly worthy of being affirmed, and the project ranks in the forefront among pipe gallery projects in the first batch of pilot cities nationwide. Li Yuanping added that the Project Department has quickly completed the construction tasks, in particular completing the pipe gallery construction in the new and old towns simultaneously, and smoothly realized local operation without affecting local heating demands in winter and sparing no effort to guarantee common people’s livelihood, which was truly difficult. It has not only completed the construction tasks in high quality and efficiency, but also played a leading demonstration role among pilot projects, which would be beneficial for all pipe gallery projects in the whole province to learn. The construction experience is worthy of being generalized nationwide.
Up to now, 85% of the Baiyin Underground Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Project’s total volume of structural concrete pouring has been completed, 22.5 km of pipe gallery complete structure pouring is being carried out along with the installation of pipeline supports, power distribution operation and control machines and tools, water pump facilities, air hoses, draught fans, cables and other ancillary facilities in the galleries, and the installation work of monitoring facilities in the galleries has been formally launched.
