On May 14th, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the first anniversary of the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum, CCTV-2’s International Financial Report broadcast a series of stories themed “The Belt and Road and Me”. From the perspective of finance and in the form of a “News close-up”, the program fully displayed the wisdom of the win-win results achieved by Sino-foreign cooperation and the Chinese value of “achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration” by telling stories about the experience of workers in the construction of the “Belt and Road”.

Following the broadcast of the programs “Metallurgical Construction National Team – MCC Zhanjiang Iron and Steel” and “Emerging Industry Leader – MCC Hengqin Underground Comprehensive Pipeline Project” on CCTV, elaborately planned by the Group’s Party-Mass Work Department and shot by MCC19, “MCC Indonesia Obi Island Nickel Ferroalloy Project” was successfully selected for CCTV-2’s International Financial Report “The Belt and Road and Me” program. The broadcast showed the positive contributions made by MCC Group towards promoting foreign cooperation and driving the development and common wealth of neighboring countries along the “Belt and Road”. As a “Belt and Road”, project, the Indonesia Obi Island Nickel Iron Project is jointly invested in by Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes (China), Singapore CI Company and Indonesia's Halida Mining Company, and constructed by MCC19. On February 6th of this year, the smooth realization of oven ignition on the No. 4 submerged arc furnace production line won the high praise of the investor Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes and the Indonesian management departments at all levels. They said that the No. 4 submerged arc furnace production line realized a double harvest of “on-site management and construction progress”.
