Recently, China National Intellectual Property Administration released the decisions on awarding the 25th China Patent Award, with China MCC winning 1 Silver Award and 3 Excellence Awards, ranking among the top in peer enterprises.

The "Large-span Support Mid-span Collaborative Prestressed Box-shaped Continuous Steel Beam-Column Structure" co-invented by Central Research Institute of Building and Construction Co., Ltd., MCC Group has won the Silver Award of the China Patent Award. Addressing the potential safety hazards in large-scale prefabricated steel structure public buildings, this patent innovatively proposes a large-span collaborative prestressed structure system, which significantly enhances the structural elastic bearing capacity and overall stability, thus providing core support for the safety and durability of China's landmark public buildings.

Among the patents that won the China Patent Award Excellence Award, the "production process and system for ultra-high-purity polysilicon and silicon derivatives" invented by China ENFI addresses the bottleneck in the preparation of integrated circuit materials. It has developed key technologies for the preparation of ultra-high-purity silicon-based electronic materials, making a cluster breakthrough in core technologies and products. Through promotion and application, the domestic market share of four silicon-based electronic specialty gas products such as electronic-grade trichlorosilane has taken a significant leading position.

The "segment device for heavy reduction of continuous casting sheet billet" invented by CERI has realized effective heavy reduction of extra-thick slabs of 450 mm and above for the first time by developing segment device with high strength, high rigidity, high precision and high intensification. Through the whole-chain innovation of equipment, process and application, it has achieved efficient implementation and precise control of heavy reduction of ultra-thick slabs, significantly improving the quality and performance of extra-thick steel plates such as ultra-high strength marine engineering steel and crack arrest steel.

The "homogeneous heating sintering method based on hierarchical composite heating" invented by MCC Changtian pioneered a gas-solid two-phase multi-layer composite homogeneous heating sintering method. It has also developed a hydrogen-rich low-carbon sintering technology system with independent intellectual property rights, which effectively improves the energy efficiency of the sintering process, reduces carbon emissions, and enhances mineralization quality and yield.

The China Patent Award is a patent award jointly granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is the highest award in China's intellectual property field and enjoys significant international influence. In recent years, China MCC has thoroughly implemented the innovation-driven development strategy. Guided by the China Patent Award, it has taken actions to improve patent quality, optimized patent layout strategies, strengthened the cultivation of high-value patents, and strived to build a scientific and standardized intellectual property management system. It has achieved quality and efficiency improvement in the entire chain of intellectual property creation, application, protection, and management, laying a solid scientific and technological foundation for realizing the enterprise's goal of "One Goal, Two Best, Five Strengths".
