On April 8, Chen Jianguang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of China MCC, and Chairman of both MCC Group and China MCC, met Zhang Chengzhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Tangshan Municipal Committee, and witnessed signing of strategic cooperation agreements.
Chen jianguang expressed his gratitude to Tangshan Municipal Party Committee and People's Government for long-standing support to China MCC, and briefly introduced the business structure known as “One Core, Two Subjects, Five Characteristics” of China MCC. Chen Jianguang pointed out that China MCC and Tangshan City have established a solid cooperative foundation and profound collaborative ties, and many of its subsidiaries have actively participated in the development of Tangshan, particularly China MCC22 Group having been continuously empowering the high-quality development of Tangshan. China MCC will fully leverage the comprehensive advantages of entire industry chain, with high-quality resources, to deepen practical cooperation with Tangshan City in metallurgical construction, mineral resource development, steel structure and prefabricated construction, etc., contributing to building a modern industrial system with Tangshan characteristics.
Zhang Chengzhong, on behalf of Tangshan Municipal Party Committee and People's Government, extended a warm welcome to Chen Jianguang and his delegation, and expressed his sincere gratitude to China MCC for its long-standing care and support to Tangshan City. He stated that Tangshan, a heroic city with profound concern and great expectations from the General Secretary Xi Jinping, is currently intensively studying and implementing the General Secretary Xi Jinping's important indicative spirit in his inspection in Tangshan. It remains committed to high-end, intelligent and green development, focusing on enhancing the entire steel industry chain, guiding steel structure enterprises to conduct product R&D and optimize production capacity, building "Quality Housing" characterized by safety, comfort, green, and smart technologies, promoting the transformation and upgrading of construction industry, and accelerating the high-quality economic and social development. It is hoped that China MCC will increase more attention and support for Tangshan, promoting more projects to settle in Tangshan to accelerate the development of the steel structure construction industry. Tangshan will continuously optimize its business environment, deepen regular government-enterprise communication, provide premium services for enterprises and projects, and build a mutually beneficial industrial ecosystem.
Following the conference, under the joint witness of leaders from both sides, China MCC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tangshan Municipal People's Government, and signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with Tangshan Municipal People's Government and China Iron and Steel Association.
