In the afternoon of March 19, Chen Jianguang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group, and Chairman of both MCC Group and China MCC, met Liu Peng, Director of Gansu Provincial Department of Transport, and He Moubao, Secretary of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Committee, at the Minmetals Plaza. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on further deepening their cooperation between central state-owned enterprises and local authorities and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.


Chen Jianguang extended a warm welcome to Liu Peng and He Moubao, and provided an overview of China Minmetals and China MCC. He stated that China Minmetals remembers and practices its original aspiration and founding mission of Serving and Reinvigorating the Country through Metal and Mining Industry", and has formed a business system mainly including metal minerals, metallurgical construction, technology industries, trade logistics, and financial real estate. As a China Minmetals-administered enterprise, China MCC has developed a business structure known as “One Core, Two Subjects, Five Characteristics” based on its professional technical advantages and business qualification advantages accumulated in the field of iron and steel metallurgy, and is making unremitting efforts towards the goal of "One Goal, Two Best, Five Strengths". China MCC attaches great importance to its strategic cooperation with Gansu Provincial Department of Transport and Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, resolutely promotes the implementation of strategic cooperation agreement between China Minmetals and the People's Government of Gansu Province, and empowers the construction of high-quality projects with advanced technologies and scientific management, continuously creates new cooperation achievements of joint construction between enterprises and localities for mutual benefit and win-win results, and contributes in Chinese-style modern Gansu. 


Liu Peng stated that over the years, China Minmetals and China MCC have continuously given play to their advantages in scientific and technological innovation, and project construction, etc., and actively participated in the construction of Gansu's transportation, making important contributions to the development of Gansu's transportation. Gansu Provincial Department of Transport will consistently reinforce service guarantees, actively build a project exchange platform, focus on strengthening docking and communication, continuously optimize the business environment, and make a concentrated effort on creating better conditions for enterprises to participate in the development of Gansu's transportation. 


He Moubao said that Gannan has abundant resources and vast development potential, and it is hoped that both parties leverage the strategic cooperation agreement signed between China Minmetals and the People’s Government of Gansu Province as a catalyst to deepen collaboration in key sectors, such as transport infrastructure construction, mineral resource exploration, cultural tourism industry development, and healthcare-wellness integration. Gannan will remain steadfast in prioritizing enterprise needs to build a first-class business environment, and achieve win-win results for enterprise and local development.
