On January 9th, MCC President Zhang Mengxing met Algeria Seegers Cement Company President Fawzi Bechiri and the relevant personnel of the Thyssen Krupp Industrial Solutions French Company at the MCC Headquarters in Beijing. Both parties held a meeting and exchanged opinions on how to promote the progress of the Seegers Cement Factory Project and further strengthen and deepen their future cooperation.
Zhang Mengxing welcomed President Fawzi Bechiri and his delegation to MCC, thanked the Seegers Cement Company and Thyssen Krupp Company for their trust in MCC and briefly introduced the Group’s basic situation, pointing out that MCC ranked 290th in the Fortune Global 500 and 8th among the ‘Top 250 Global Contractors’ in 2016, and it has cooperation projects in 49 countries in the world. Algeria is a market developed by MCC as a key point in North Africa. It has completed many industrial and civil projects involving thousands of indemnificatory houses, Oran Stadium and so on. The Algeria Seegers Cement Factory Project has strong market competitiveness and huge development potential for the future. MCC pays close attention to this project, and prioritizes giving full play to its own advantages and striving to forge this project into an excellent first-class project in Algeria. It is hoped that the Algeria Seegers Cement Company and Thyssen Krupp Company will create good conditions, provide strong support for MCC to complete the project on schedule and strengthen communication and cooperation, thereby treating this project as an opportunity to lay a foundation for both parties to further strengthen their future cooperation.
President Fawzi Bechiri thanked President Zhang Mengxing for his cordial welcome and briefly introduced the conditions of Algeria and the basic information of Seegers Cement Company. He pointed out that through visiting MCC’s projects in China, he deeply understood the important role that MCC plays in the global engineering construction field with its strength and broad accumulation of engineering design and construction experience. They will try their best to ensure that the Algeria Seegers Cement Factory Project will be implemented according to the contract, and provide necessary conditions to guarantee its completion on schedule. It is hoped that both parties will take this opportunity to pursue friendly cooperate on this project, and further strengthen their all-round cooperation in the future.
