On May 17th, China Minerals Corporation General Manager and Party Committee Deputy Secretary and MCC Group President and Party Committee Secretary Guo Wenqing met Hunan Xiangtan Municipal Party Secretary and Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee Director Cao Jiongfang and his delegation. Both parties jointly reviewed their friendly cooperation process and reached a consensus in terms of reinforcing that cooperation in such fields as municipal infrastructure, real estate development and urban underground comprehensive pipe galleries. The meeting was attended by China Minerals Corporation Deputy General Manager and Party Group Member Zhang Yuanrong.
Guo Wenqing welcomed Secretary Cao Jiongfang and his delegation and thanked them for the strong support offered by the Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to the Group Company and its owned subsidiaries. He then briefly introduced the business conditions and main businesses of the Group Company and the MCC Group, especially the development plans of the municipal infrastructure construction and urban underground comprehensive pipe gallery businesses. He hopes that the Group Company will further strengthen its ties with the Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and deepen their cooperation in emerging industries according to the national development strategy. He also expressed that the Group Company and MCC Group will open a new development journey after the recombination, join with more abundant strength and undertake more social responsibilities. The Group Company will spare no efforts to promote the winning of projects, drive project efficiency and realize 'never delaying and never slacking', thereby making positive contributions to the economic and social development of Xiangtan City.
Cao Jiongfang thanked Guo Wenqing for his warm reception and fully affirmed the long-term contributions made by the Group Company to the economic and social development of Xiangtan City. He then pointed out that China Minerals and Xiangtan have a long cooperation history. Many member enterprises such as China Minerals Ershisanye have taken root in Xiangtan for long periods and positively devoted themselves to the development of each industry in the City, fully embodying the abundant strength and fine working style of a central enterprise. He stressed that economy of Xiangtan will welcome in a new round of transformation and upgrading, and it is hoped that China Minerals will further broaden its cooperation channels and closely cooperate in such fields as infrastructure construction, real estate development, and emerging industries in the pursuit of mutual benefits and win-win results. The Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will provide all-around policy support and high-quality services for the development of China Minerals’ owned enterprises in Xiangtan City.
Both parties also discussed matters of common concern to them.
The meeting was attended by related leaders of Xiangtan and its subordinate Shaoshan City including Sun Yinsheng, Zeng Hongliang, Wang Feng, Duan Weichang, Hu Jiankai, Huang Ren and Huang Yong, as well as the principals of the related units of the Group Company including He Jianbo, Shi She, Yue Qingrui and Liu Zeping et al.
