On January 16, 2024 China MCC Work Report Conference for General Representatives of Key Overseas Markets and Summary Conference on Overseas Market Development was conducted in Beijing via an "on-site + video" format. Zhu Guangxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group) and Metallurgical Corporation of China (China MCC), attended the conference and delivered a speech. Wang Bo, Director of the Overseas Engineering and Mining Management Department, presided over the conference and provided a summary. 

Zhu Guangxia delivered a speech titled by the Seize the Momentum to Pursue Development, Strive for New Development, and Go All Out to Secure a Successful Conclusion to Overseas Efforts for the '14th Five-Year Plan'. In the speech, he presented five work requirements: first, pay more attention to and strengthen the chief representative platform of the Group; second, further explore the incremental overseas metallurgical market; third, further promote the work style of "Being practical and doing solid work"; fourth, attach more importance to building an overseas talent echelon; fifth, strengthen the "Dual responsibilities for one position" and further improve overseas risk and compliant management. Meanwhile, Zhu Guangxia emphasized that we should focus on key tasks during the Spring Festival, such as enhancing overseas safety, showing care and concern for employees, and extending regards to their families. 

At the conference, the Overseas Engineering and Mining Management Department reported on the overseas market development of the Group in 2024, and the chief representatives from 11 key markets delivered their annual work reports. Wang Bo put forward four work suggestions during the summary of conference. 

206 people attended the conference, including the personnel from relevant departments of the headquarters, some key leaders and leaders in charge of overseas business from 29 subsidiaries, chief representatives of 20 key markets, heads and cadremen of overseas marketing, etc.
