On December 11 to 12, Zhu Guangxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group) and Metallurgical Corporation of China (China MCC), was invited to attend the Third Council Meeting of the Eighth Session of the China International Contractors Association and the 2024 Industry Annual Conference in Chongqing. 

Over 300 representatives from over 150 council members attended the meeting. Entrusted by the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA), Zhu Guangxia, as the convener of vice presidents of China MCC, presided over the council meeting for group discussions and deliberated the meeting documents. 

On the eve of the council meeting, Zhu Guangxia was invited to attend the collective meeting hosted by Chen Yuanchun, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress, and the Central-Local Exchange Meeting on the Development of Chongqing's International Projects to exchange views on deepening practical cooperation. 

At this council meeting, the awarding ceremonies for multiple awards were also held. China MCC won the "ENR TOP 250 International Contractors". China MCC, WISDRI, MCC First Group and other enterprises were rated as AAA enterprises in the credit rating evaluation of international contracted projects in 2024. Kuwait RA259 Road Project undertaken by China MCC, Sri Lanka Outer Circular Highway Project undertaken by China MCC20 and other projects was awarded the Special Honorary Award for Overseas Sustainable Infrastructure. Zhu Guangxia, as the Vice President of China MCC, awarded some AAA enterprises for international contracted projects. 

During his stay in Chongqing, Zhu Guangxia led the Overseas Engineering and Mining Management Department and some subsidiaries to negotiate business cooperation with relevant local enterprises in Chongqing. 

Zhu Xiaofei, Wang Bo and other heads from the MCC Headquarters' departments and subsidiaries attended the above activites.
